This is a steel sculptural pillar that holds the cremains of animals
who were euthanized at a local animal shelter. This sculpture is in wooded area on the sanctuary grounds.

The inscription on top of the pillar reads:

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
