Gabe is a belgian gelding who is in his teens and was saved from slaughter. He just arrived in October 2007. He is a sweet boy and we're still getting to know his personality.
Paloma was saved from slaughter in 2005. She has come from being very shy to sweet and friendly. Last spring Paloma had to have major surgery at Washington State University. You can read about her surgery in Issue 2 of our Newsletter. We are still paying her surgery. If you would like to help with this expense please consider sponsoring Paloma.
Cody recently arrived at the sanctuary. With the high cost of hay this winter, many people are not able to afford their horses. Sadly, many horses are going to auction and ending up being slaughtered because people cannot afford them. |
