ABOUT
RIVER'S WISH ANIMAL SANCTUARY
We are a 501c-3
nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescuing of animals
in need. We provide shelter and care to rabbits
primarily. We also offer sanctuary to dogs, cats,
goats, horses, sheep and pigs. Our goal is to provide
them with permanent and loving homes. We offer educational
outreach and participate in adoption fairs.
In 1995 we joined a local pet rescue group which opened
our eyes to the plight of animals in need. We have
since fostered and placed hundreds of dogs, cats and rabbits.
We incorporated in 2004 as a non-profit animal sanctuary.
We operate a sanctuary to several species and you will
find information on them in various places on our website.
River's Wish is named
after our beloved dog, River. River's
Wish is situated on 65 acres in Spokane county.
Caring for the animals at River's Wish requires immense
amounts of time and money. If you would like to
make a tax-deductible donation, please click on the Donations
link.
