Art & Animals

As art educators and artists, the visual arts are a part of our co-founders daily lives. They have found that after being involved in rescue and sanctuary for nearly 30 years, there is a natural integration between their two passions. From offering art workshops to creating work that reflects experience, emotions, and observations, they strive to make the world a better place for animals. They use art sometimes as a narrative to say what words are unable to express. The art and animals experience is part of the fabric of River's Wish.

River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary advocates compassionate choices through vegan living.
Out of respect for the animals and the sanctuary’s mission, values, and vision, only plant based foods will be offered at our fundraising events, meetings, or other functions. The animals in our care represent millions of others who suffer in animal agriculture and other exploitative industries. We remember and honor them in our everyday actions and through our vegan menu policy.
